It was Franck, a sailor, freediver and a writer, who invited us on that trip.
We went diving in an exceptional location in Iceland.
Silfra is well known to scuba divers, but we decided to go and discover it on our own, free diving in its icy waters.
The fissure is located on a fault line between two continents. Its translucent water comes from the glaciers, and welcomes us at a temperature of 2 °.
During the trip, we also discovered the landscapes of southern Iceland, enjoyed the solar eclipse on March 20, 2015, as well as the beauty of the northern lights.
