Earthquakes geographical visualization

The map shows the location of every recorded earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 or greater from 1898 until the end of 2019.
The most powerful earthquake in history was the Great Chilean Earthquake of 1960, with a magnitude of 9.5.
The deadliest earthquake in recent times was the Haiti quake in 2010, which killed over 300,000 people.
Data used was obtained from the United States Geological Survey.
